A potential hotdpot at Jardines Sabatini found on 8/15

Searched for Box blight in Plaza de Oriente, Madrid on 8/15-16, taking one sample.

Found large box planting on Jardines del Buen Retiro in Madrid in the pm of 8/16 although no sign of blight, too hot (nearly 40C) and dry.

Saw box framed every bed in the Jardin Botanico of Madrid with different levels of BTM but no sign of box blight late pm of 8/16.

Saw drought damage to box in Toledo, a suburban of Madrid on 8/17.

Visited Jardin Botanica in Bordeaux 8/18 pm and saw no box.

Visited Jardin Public 8/19 am, well organized and decorated, focusing on vegs, herbs, flowers, but no box though.

After consulting with hotel and city tourist office, took a train to Saint Foy la Grande then a taxi to le Jardin du Chateau Pierrail for private box plantings.
