This brilliant blog from Nikki Sullivan is a great example of the 'unite' behaviour of implementation. "We need to unite around a common purpose, given depth through stories and images and quotations. But values, in and of themselves aren’t enough." lovetotalktandl.wordpress.com/2025/02/20/lay…

Bradford Research School EEF My messages are to dig down beyond the headlines. For example, the formative assessment having a stronger impact on lower attaining pupils and primary, plus having a stronger impact when coupled with metacognitive strategies (which in turn can be hard to implement well). Always

Bradford Research School EEF come back to what is it you are looking for solve and use it to ask questions, not simply deciding it has been shown to have strong impact. Also then look at the stronger evidence listed if possible. Then ask more questions. Then think about the implementation challenges.
