On our last day in Des Moines at #FoodPrize22, we visited the Hall of Laureates and celebrated the work on Norman Borlaug. As we conclude #WFPFGoals, it’s exciting to leave knowing the passion of one can inspire the impact of so many. #BecauseofBorlaug

Good stuff here in Minnesota as we start our #WFPFGOALS teaching week! Day 1 focused on global citizenship and the United Nations SDGs. We encountered some snow and a 2 hr delay schedule but enjoyed jumping right in with the time we had. West Central Area has been good to us! Global Teach Ag Network

Time is flying at my #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion! My students were excited to show off their new banners courtesy of Global Teach Ag Network World Food Prize Foundation and NIFA! The class enjoyed the Global Farmer Experience from Growing Hope Globally - highly recommend for all ag teachers!

Said goodbye to the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion and ended on a high note! We braved some snow for our travel home and I enjoyed seeing how they de-ice planes. Made sure to check out a few MN staples (including Nelson Bros Bakery) on our way out of the twin cities. Global Teach Ag Network

Last week, #psuaged24 enjoyed a week of meaningful learning experiences. We reflected upon how we care for agricultural education programs through an egg drop activity and got to watch Emily McGowan crush her presentation on teacher burnout! Looking forward to more to come!

Today in AEE 412, Seanna shared about her experiences working with Shaver's Creek Outdoor School. It is exciting to see the overlap between agricultural and environmental education, especially for younger learners! #psuaged24

I enjoyed learning from Emily Jay in our #psuaged24 Teaching Merhods course this week about her experience at Miracle Mountain Ranch! Her experiences in youth ministry and the equine space helped our entire cohort to gain valuable perspective.

Thanks to Celia Graef for sharing about the value of PA State Parks and their value to agricultural education! (Shoutout to my #psuaged24 peers who keep me included while I visited Athens FFA for the day!). Also enjoyed making kestrel boxes in our AEE 350 class this week.
