All four times of sowing (14 April to 9 June) up and away at Grass Patch. DPIRD funded research looking at optimising wheat variety choice (in particular diff. maturity types) across the sowing window. Cracking site thanks to hosts Sanderson Farms.

Growers across the #Wheatbelt are in the thick of seeding and so is DPIRDWA. Our agronomy team has been busy with time of sowing (TOS) trials which help to refine variety recommendations for the annual WA Crop Sowing Guide. Pictured is the third TOS for a wheat trial at Mullewa!

4 panellists cost to taxpayers = $ 1mil other expenses $ 5.6 mil. To ban an industry that generates $92Mil in National Trade, 80% of these mostly FAMILY businesses will wiped out. Disgusting 😡 Wake up 🇭🇲 we are rotting from the inside.
