On #WorldBeeDay here’s a truly buzzing selection of bees from team mate John Ashburner all photographed in the Brent River Park. The diversity of insect life in our woods and meadows is worth celebrating.

On #BiodiversityDay it’s worth mentioning the great contribution the Brent River Park has made to the biodiversity of Ealing. Its 7 kilometre green corridor connects varying habitats of meadows, parks, woodland and river and canal banks.

Brent Meadow to Top Locks is Ealing's favourite walk! With our 50th Anniversary coming up on 29th June, it's great to know how Luke FitzHerbert's vision in fighting to found this 7km green chain of parks is still appreciated. FitzHerbert Walk, part of this walk, is named for him.
