Participating in training led by tribal partners about honoring data sovereignty and requirements for conducting research for UW–Madison CALS and UW–Madison Division of Extension team members contributing to USDA-funded efforts to support food sovereignty in Wisconsin and Great Lakes region.


Wonderful experience working with UW–Madison CALS Honors Student, Mia Homan, presenting her results at the UW-Madison Sustainability Sustainability Symposium. Her research focused on interviewing experts at UW-Madison re: sources of #PFAS in WI rural drinking water to improve outreach.


Representing UW–Madison CALS and UW-Madison LSC with fellow UW–Madison Division of Extension Specialist Mark Renz from UW Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences at Upper Midwest Invasive Species Conference, bringing multidisciplinary perspectives to the management of aquatic and terrestrial invasive species.


Co-presenting with UW–Madison Division of Extension colleagues at Extension All Colleague Conference about how to use geo-targeting strategies with Facebook ads to grow audience of Hmong farmers to provide educational resources from Extension, UW–Madison CALS and partners.





Soliciting feedback at InTents Conference in San Diego from farmers market managers about a communications toolkit being developed in partnership with the Farmers Market Coalition. Thank you Cheryl Shea for being a great graduate assistant!
