The Ed Woodward era is going to haunt us for the next couple of years minimum. Club is skint and skating close to a PSR breach. I've no love for INESO, but they've inherited a mess. This is where we are at, a mixture of youth and signings that are desperate punts.

Every billionaire is proof our system is broken. As hospitals struggle and schools face cuts, a tiny elite hoard unimaginable wealth. Taxing the super-rich isn’t radical - it’s common sense. Billionaires are not a sign of success but policy failure. 1/2

Brilliant response Cllr Anthony Flynn ā€œThis is yet another example of the TUV engaging in performative culture wars rather than offering any meaningful solutions for the working-class communities they claim to represent". Obsessed with the gays, to distract from a lack of ideas.

Perfectly normal for the council to respond to a complaint & not to prejudge the outcome However in my view the complaint is absolute nonsense & the TUV are playing culture war politics again because they've absolutely nothing better to do than complain about windows. Snowflakes

🚨 BREAKING: 75% of people in the UK would support a wealth tax of 2% on wealth over £10m. So why is the UK govt pushing through shameful cuts to social security tomorrow instead of taxing the super rich?

Bonfires can bring communities together, but there’s nothing cultural about racism, sectarian threats, or putting people’s homes and health at risk. When bonfires are used to intimidate or target minorities, that’s not tradition - it’s hate.

As a Green I'm not a fan of bonfires, yet I will praise the real work that has gone on with many across NI at this time of the year. Such as removal of tyres, reducing size, no effigies etc. Yet the 2 bonfires in Moygashel and near the Westlink, undermine all that good work.

Delighted that Belfast City Council has formally agreed to buy the Assembly Rooms from Castlebrook. As Greens we have fought to lift this part of the City Centre of its knees. We've still plenty more to do, but we're committed to delivering a greener cleaner City Centre for all.

🚨In what will hopefully be a turning point in the whole sorry Castlebrooke saga, the Council has today officially agreed to make them an offer to buy the Assembly Rooms.🚨 Thank you to @ainegroogan and Cllr Brian Smyth for their heroic work on this.Ā  limerickleader.ie/news/northern-…

In a much needed bit of good news for Belfast, Belfast City Council has agreed to move forward to purchase the Assembly Rooms! Bringing this historic & culturally significant building back into public ownership is a landmark move & I'm excited to see what the next chapter holds for it!

Let's stop calling them paramilitaries, but narco criminals, child groomers, human traffickers. They are a cancer on working class PUL areas and in this case potentially want the locals to inhale cancerous asbestos fumes. At what point as a society do we say enough is enough?

Alan Stout (@alanstout19) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Just as a simple, unbiased, non conflicted medical opinion. I would not have myself, my children or any of my family anywhere near asbestos. The risk and the long term impact is just far too severe

Sick sick sick. I’ve seen some piss weak excuses for this today around messaging etc but the only message this communicates is racism. It screams that.

Lighting this bonfire a day early to protect a grotesque display of dummies in a boat doesn’t just shame our community - it exposes the real dummies behind it. There’s nothing cultural about racism, intimidation, or mocking those fleeing war and persecution. 1/4

Cllr Ɓine Groogan Cllr Ɓine Groogan calls out the NI Environment Agency and DAERA Minister Andrew Muir for failing to act on the Broadway bonfire asbestos risk. Public health is at risk and sense is not prevailing. It’s a thoroughly depressing state of affairs. #PublicSafety
