Alert- Partial blockage of Granite Creek Road on the Jackson Ranger District. Blasters will remove the boulders on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. A temporary closure up to 1 hr for 1/2mi in both directions is expected while they blast and remove the debris. #BTNF

The BTNF began prescribed fire operations on Munger Mountain south of Jackson yesterday. Fire managers estimate approximately 45 acres were burned amidst persisting patches of snow, which allowed for a desired mosaic pattern of burned and burned areas.
