Meet our MC for tonight - Jamie! Jamie is a scholar whose work lies at the nexus of Critical/Cultural Studies and Rhetoric. He is particularly interested in how language constructs, represents, legislates, and polices identity, focusing particularly on notions on race and gender.

Meet Chris! She studies marine biology because it's the program with the coolest merch. The promise of ocean-side science has taken her around the world to study salty species. As a researcher at Dal, she convinces phytoplankton to eat our scraps and turn them into valuable food

Meet Dr. Mary Hale! An Associate Professor Saint Mary’s University researching New Religious Movements, Metacognition, & Death. She plays flute (competently), banjo (wildly incompetently), and listens to true crime podcasts. This is her first-time doing stand-up!

Meet San Patten! She has 25 years experience as a health research consultant working in HIV prevention and harm reduction in Canada and 16 other countries. She is an avid rower and recently adopted a pocket pittie with prominent nipples.
