We are horrified to hear @CllrEllieking describe allotment holders as “private food growers” and allotment sites as gated communities. This shows a total lack of understanding of either Bristol’s food growing movement or how many community groups feed neighbourhoods on sites.

We are indeed angry and disappointed. The whole consultation has been a total farce and the budgets these rent rises are based on are about as clear as mud.
