Eighteen months ago, we installed berms in the Stoke Brook. Plant, invertebrate, and fish life have all blossomed here by simply making the flow more diverse. This progress shows the impact that small, nature-based interventions can have. Wait for the AFTER!

We visited Belmont Estate's Watercress Farm Site with our Wessex Water Guardians. It was incredibly interesting to see how their rewilding and nature recovery is progressing, particularly the river meandering. Thanks to Belmont for providing such an enriching experience!

During the last week of the school holidays we ran two River dip sessions in Manor woods and Nightingale valley. 🐟 🦂 The kids (and adults) got the opportunity to learn how to perform kick-samples to catch riverfly and other small river fauna, exactly as our ecologists do.

It's pretty obvious whose side The Guardian is on. Where's mention that EDF 🇬🇧 included the fish deterrent to get approval, and later ditched it to boost their profits? Sign the petition here win.newmode.net/hinkley-point-… and share widely! theguardian.com/business/2025/…
