We had almost 20 #students join us for BristolFuture Talent Partnership's #mentoring session Burges Salmon & showcased a variety of career paths available within a commercial #law firm.

A #student from CLF Post 16 has spent the week with Socius seeing first hand what goes on behind the scenes at this busy development company!

This is an exciting week for the Partnership with almost 50 #students taking part in work experience across 4 different companies - keep watching this space for updates on what they get up to!

Students from St Brendan's Sixth Form College have had a busy few days of #workexperience with FareShare! As well as helping to create a new outdoor space, they also learnt how to pick orders in the warehouse ready to distribute across the UK.

Students have spent an action packed few days with LettUs Grow! From learning to code to building a website and using LinkedIn to build a brand, on the final day of #workexperience the students will be creating a sales pitch to present to staff.

Students from SGS College have enjoyed a busy couple of days with Balfour Beatty! They visited Portbury docks to view the last remaining liner ready to be taken offshore as part of works for Hinkley Point and also completed a scan survey.

12 students recently got the opportunity to spend a week with HSBC UK! Their busy week included customer visits to Amdaris and Pieminister, CV writing and interview skills, and an insight into the variety of potential career opportunities available within the organisation.

Over the next month #BFTP will be welcoming over 170 students to 15 organisations for high quality careers insight placements. We will help raise aspirations, remove barriers and provide talent with opportunity for these students, and can’t wait to see how they get on!

Next week Hoare Lea, Soil Association and Bristol City Leap are all hosting students for a week long Careers Insight placement! Students will be introduced to a range of areas including forestry, acoustics, lighting and retrofit and electric vehicles.

Last week we hosted three students in partnership with BristolFuture ✨ They explored heat networks, electric vehicles, safety methods, sustainable business at Sparks Bristol, & more 💚 We are so grateful for the enthusiasm & proactive approach the students brought each day!
