Abdullahi Farah founded the Bristol Somali Resource Centre 15 years ago. It now supports over 2,000 people every year. I was honoured to meet him this morning, as part of a project I’m doing with Quartet CF.

On Friday we welcomed Tom Goodfellow and researchers from Urban Studies and Planning at Sheffield University to hear local Somalis' experiences of life in our city. Their voices will help identify the most important questions for understanding the needs, challenges and triumphs of our Somali community.
