📊High rates of discrete NCP (37 %) and adverse CVEs (5.7%) were observed   🩺Risk factors such as HLD, DM, tobacco use, older age, elevated SBP, and higher total CAC scores are associated with NCP. ⚠️Patients with NCP had higher ASCVD and total Morise scores

🏠NCP patients were more likely to live in rural communities (0–5000 people). 🫀NCP presence was an independent risk factor for future adverse CVEs within 2 years (death, MI, CVA). 📝A comprehensive approach to CV risk assessment is needed in rural and high CV regions.
