Had a blast on Einstein A Go Go with Dr Shane Huntington OAM & team - thanks again for amazing opportunity to talk about my work in #musicscience and #brain! Also great to discuss with Dr Lauren M Young the link between mood, cognition & diet & potential benefits of dietary supplements 🍎

Excited after having a great meeting with Gustavo Duque to discuss our #PISCES Study at its newest site Western Health . It is going to be a good year working with AIMSS !

A major finding from my PhD is finally published in Sleep Research Society! This is probably the chapter I'm most proud of - a truly interdisciplinary and collaborative project. For those interested in sleep & stroke, the complete paper can be found here: bit.ly/2yTFyfi #phdchat

Our latest work from CANVAS study: greater atrophy rates in hippocampus, thalamus, and ipsilesional hemispheric volumes following #Stroke. Particularly rapid within first 3 months post-onset. Potential early window for intervention. Dr Laura J Bird @micheleveldsman Stroke AHA/ASA

Interested in the association between sleep-wake dysfunction and post-stroke neurodegeneration? Please check out my poster at #SLEEP2020! The complete findings have also recently been published in the latest issue of Sleep Research Society and can be found here: academic.oup.com/sleep/sleep/ad…

Thrilled to have been awarded the The Florey Wally & Jean Jackson Neuroimaging Prize for my PhD work and Sleep Research Society paper investigating neurodegenerative markers of sleep-wake dysfunction after stroke. Nice way to bring in the holidays after a tough year!
