A milestone day for Broughton Sanctuary in Yorkshire. Two beavers from Scotland released into a 7 ha woodland stream enclosure to take on a task that comes naturally - restoring a rare and special habitat - wet woodland - and helping the project to re-engage people with nature.

They’re ramping up the community engagement Broughton Sanctuary thanks to funding from The White Rose Forest - including this free 4 weekly sessions birdsong identification course, now in its second week.
