Today enjoyed visit to IIT Delhi as part of the British Council International Science Partnerships Fund (#ISPFund) #ResilientPlanetSymposium in Delhi with 9 senior and 42 early career researchers from India, UK and Japan funded by Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. British Council in India

I enjoyed presenting progress of Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences (NHESS) last week at #EGU24 on behalf of NHESS 6 executive editors, 42 editors and dozens special issue editors. Very much group effort by all of us in helping oversee review process of the many (v. often excellent) manuscripts sent each year.

When Disasters strike, it reminds us of promises made but never worked on. A picture of a book of the flood assessment report for MAM rains in 2013 done by RCMRD, UNDP, NDOC and yours truly among others. Recommendations need to be acted upon and implemented. Nature Never forgives
