The world doesn't need a new James Bond movie. It needs a prequel series about 006 & 007's brotherhood across various commando/special service missions and journey to MI6 Could be done in 1940s canon, but would be best as modern adaptation flashing back to their time in GWOT 🎬

New plan in dealing with a potentially genocidal superintelligence we accidentally let out of the box: Tell everyone it's companion bot and 4 billion men around the world DDOS it into oblivion.

Everyone feels late until they realize we’re still early. Sub $10K buyers wanted $1K. Sub $100K buyers wished for $10K. When #Bitcoin hits $1M, $100K will feel like a gift. Start small. DCA. Think long term. Never stopp. And enjoy the ride.

Other than the Swiss Franc, the dollar is the strongest currency in the world. The greenback as well as US bond yields have benefited the US being the β€œcleanest dirty shirt” in a world economy weighed down by a crushing debt load. The question is whether the US will continue to

Maxine Waters just suggested CLARITY Act allows stablecoin issuers to hold Bitcoin as part of their reserves, citing Nayib Bukele 2021 law making Bitcoin legal tender in El Salvador. She seems to have missed the law was repealed and Bitcoin is no longer legal tender there..

This is a fantastic day for the U.S. with GENIUS heading to the President's desk and CLARITY moving to the Senate. There's a lot of credit to go around to different members of Congress and the Admin, but dont forget to have a toast to the staff tonight. They put up with a lot.

To sum up: 1) The "evidence" of quantum computing is a hype cycle, logical fallacy, and not real. 2) Selecting a cryptographic protocol is going to be the hardest thing here, and unlike banks, we have good reason to reject NIST recommendations. 3) It "doesn't hurt" to do this

Hey Bo Hines we could probably save some serious fees stocking the reserve if we just buy this tranche of bitcoin from the UK peer to peer.

Many bitcoiners will poo-poo this stuff as unimportant suits-coiners stuff but protecting non-custodial tech from the government is a MASSIVE win that should be celebrated far and wide. CLARITY will also go a long way to shoring up the incredibly muddled securities landscape

"Be careful because if you don't own the actual base layer bitcoin that you self-custody in your own wallet, then you are exposed to this counterparty credit risk of your custodian not actually having the bitcoin they say they have." Very good reminder from Caitlin Long πŸ”‘βš‘οΈπŸŸ

I don’t think this demonstrates an intent to ML but probably hit some members of the jury hard. Big thing that resonates with me on a macro/industry level is EVERYONE working in DeFi knows it’s not decentralized. Judges/juries will soon understand this too.

People freely buying the most desirable form of money in ways you do not personally like does not make it β€œco-opted”—it showcases the money’s credible neutrality
