Santa Fe WR Bryce Melton and Los Alamos WR Melaki Gutierrez finished 1-2 in both the 100 and 200 meters Saturday at the Richard Harper Memorial Meet at Albuq. Academy. Melton won both events. He ran the 100 in 10.7 sec and the 200 in 21.33 sec. Strong 'King of Speed' contender.

Santa Fe High sophomore Bryce Melton ran a 10.49 in the 100 meters at the District 5-5A meet Saturday. Just a reminder, the overall state record is 10.50 held by the legendary Bobby Newcombe and Jordan Byrd. The 5A state meet is next weekend.
