How's your head? We've found this phrenological assessment chart from the mid 19th century analysing the faculties of a Mrs Tapling. Phrenology was a pseudoscience that ascribed different characteristics to different sized parts of the brain.

Here's another cipher letter! This one is from Philadelphia Fiott - we're not sure if this is the same person (Harriet) as the previous letters we've shared. It might be a nickname or another layer to the cipher! We think think this one dates to 1797.

We've found a great journal by Olivia Farmbrough written in 1865. Before we show you what's inside, we thought we'd highlight some of the details! The inside cover is printed, but Olivia's initials and the date are hand drawn.

It's #SportandFashion month so we thought we'd share some amazing photos from the Winter Paralympics in 1992. These are preserved in our archive for future generations to marvel at. From just one quick look at these colours and patterns you could have worked out the year.

Tucked inside Walter Keep's scrapbook from the Great War is this mysterious photograph. His notes say that it's a card taken from a dead German after an attack in 1917. This is likely someone's loved one back home, but we sadly have no other information or way of tracing her!

For #SportandFashion month we thought we'd share these photos from some early Stoke Mandeville Games! Without the uniform standards of today or modern materials, athletes wore whatever was comfortable.
