‼️ Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service along with our partner agencies are under significant demand responding to Storm Darragh. We've responded to a range of incidents across Cornwall, from fallen trees on houses to fires from arcing cables, with more than 100 incident logs generated since 7am. 1/2

Yesterday was certainly wild 💨 Both our appliances were out most of the day going from job to job. We'd just like to thank the public for their patience and understanding around the road closure we had to implement due to the swimming pool roof posing a danger. 🚒

This drone footage was taken by Scott last weekend. You can see how quickly the fire can spread. Thankfully no one was hurt and there was only superficial fire damage to the nearby building.

Today Truro RFC U7s played Bude RFC and Phoenix Services & Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service kindly loaned them the minibus to Travel up. Hugely appreciated by the players & parents. Promise it was full on the way up despite low numbers in the picture
