Gotta say, it’s hard to imagine a more fitting coda to my time on Twitter than being the lead quote in this article nytimes.com/2022/12/21/sty…

Thank you President Donald J. Trump. It's an honor for me to visit 🇺🇸, to address the 🇺🇸 people and Congress, to meet with the leader of the country that helps us stand. And win! This visit showed our countries stand together on the side of good, democracy and justice. Creating the future together!

1/8. A point which is often lost in discussions of inflation and central bank policy. Inflation is fundamentally the outcome of the distributional conflict, between firms, workers, and taxpayers. It stops only when the various players are forced to accept the outcome.

This kinda went under the radar in the year-end crush, but congrats to the Save Standard Time folks who successfully defeated Marco Rubio time. Can’t imagine him getting another sneak attack through the Senate like he did this year & I don’t see how it makes a comeback anytime soon.
