Now is a good time to experiment with ways to expand outdoor dining at the city’s restaurants. Use streets. Driveways. Alleyways. Restaurants are going to need more space: let's create a plan to give it to them. #CitiesForPeople kinder.rice.edu/urbanedge/2020…

Music venues contribute to our culture and economy - both are vitally important to the success of our city. I am pleased that we had unanimous support to assist the long-term sustainability of live music venues through endorsing the expansion of a property tax subclass. 1/2

The Bloor bikeway extension is going to be a significant addition to the City's cycling network, connecting people from out west to the core, and those from the core out to High Park. I want to extend my deepest thanks to the City cycling team who put so much effort into this.

Bike lanes are good for business — a necessary part of building a liveable city. We support the City's #ActiveTO cycling network plan, including on Bloor to Runnymede. Main Street T.O. needs safe, equitable city infrastructure that facilitates travel to our local businesses (1/2)

Happy to join CP24 to discuss the cycling network plan installation for the Bloor West Bikeway extension and ActiveTO cycling projects. These are important projects that will keep people safe in our communities.

I also don’t get the Bloor-Yorkville BIA’s claim that the Santa Claus parade changed its route due to the bike lanes. Bloor bike lanes between Avenue & Shaw were installed in 2016, parade didn’t change routes until 2019, citing road construction, not bike lanes.

I am fortunate to have a roof to sit on in nice weather. Last evening, as I was having “Zoom drinks” with a friend, the sky above me buzzed with a half-dozen helicopters, so loud they drowned out the conversation. The Barclay Center is a 10 min walk from my house in Brooklyn.

A directory of Black-owned restaurants in Toronto. It's not complete (Albert's! Ti Kay La! Buna Coffee/Nunu! Beach Hill Smokehouse! Enat Buna! Salaama Hut! Xawaash! Bilal!) but it's a starting point. Add below what's missing. afrobiz.ca/Toronto/Restau…
