Praying for all people who have been tortured, women and men. Help them to find healing and support. Bring and end to the use of torture in war.

Prayer for today - help the police and CPS do their jobs sensitively, fairly and effectively, seeking justice for victims and their families and supporting safe communities for all.

Praying for all children who have been abused, physically, emotionally or sexually by their parents or others who had responsibility for caring for them. Help their suffering to end and bring them healing. Guide all who work with abused children.

Praying for women's voices across the world to sing out and be heard, both by other women and men. Help us to support women's voices everywhere and to listen to what they say.

Giving thanks for the life of Paul Stephenson and all those who have campaigned for civil rights and against racism in this country and around the world. Help us to recommit to this work and to creating positive changes.

Tonight I am praying for all those who have been sent racist messages or who have been attacked because of their race or religion. Let us create a world where all people are valued and respected.

My prayers this evening are focused on all those children who are seriously ill - give them courage, for their parents and families - give them hope and resilience, for their doctors, nurses and other medical professionals - compassion, care and good judgement.

Praying tonight for teachers, staff in schools & colleges and leaders in education. Give them inspiration, imagination and resilience. Help them to feel valued and supported in their work each day.

Praying tonight for governments, businesses, non-governmental organisations and individuals to work together on climate change and a plastics treaty for the good of our world and all the people & life that dwells on her. Help us to each do our part to make a difference.

Praying tonight for politicians and leaders in the wealthiest countries to take seriously climate change and other environmental issues. Help leaders of organisations and communities to take action now to protect our world.
