So cannot wait for this online tomorrow - had a butchers today at Butcher's Dog Publishing π mag π and wow wow wow, the poems! Can't believe mine snuck in there. Pinching myself.

Iβm in the midst of a haul of poetry rejections, but there is light in Butcherβs Dog. Reading my poem with a host of other poets was a joy this week πButcher's Dog Publishing Manchester Writing School

Look what came in the post! Thank you Butcher's Dog Publishing Dr Jo Clement for publishing my happy Takhi horses birthday poem! Iβve just started reading and thereβs a darling poem by Dean Atta canβt wait to read the rest, and the cover is πΎπΆπ₯πΆπΎ!

Yay, excellent mail from the postie this morning to brighten up my wee Highland corner with all the best words Poetry London & Butcher's Dog Publishing β€οΈβ€οΈ

Can't wait to read the first Poetry London issue edited by Niall Campbell, and look! @RomalynAnte is cover girl! And twinned with Butcher's Dog Publishing is perfect combo!

As an example of how to make a journal's hiatus sound as positive as I'm sure it is, the email newly arrived in my inbox this afternoon from Dr Jo Clement about the next 12 months for Butcher's Dog Publishing is a masterclass. I wish Jo β and all who give their all for the mag β every success.

It is hard to receive news that Butcher's Dog Publishing is on pause for a year. I can only hope it makes a positive comeback

Here is Butcherβs Dog journal out in the wild today at Keighley Playhouse πβ¦Butcher's Dog Publishingβ©

End of term is mad β thereβs so much going on π« the boys are tired & ready to be done & I am low on sleep, energy & patience π¬ really hoping we can all reset over the summer π€π» until then, Iβm grabbing 5 minutes in the garden with this canny mag Butcher's Dog Publishing

Finally got to read issue 20 of Butcher's Dog Publishing. Had to (temporarily) run away from home to do so. Well done Dr Jo Clement for putting together such a fabulous issue single-handedly. Feel very proud to have made the long-list for this!

Now feels like the right time to tell you that in November we're publishing a new poetry anthology by South Asian women writers living in the North East of England. With thanks to programmes led by New Writing North funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority and Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
