Bears drop their first round matchup 6-0. Game was knotted at 0 going into the 7th but Stewartville got the clutch hits and the Bears could not. Win or go home game on Tuesday.

Bears were down 6-1 after the top of the 4th but rallied for 8 unanswered runs to come away with the 9-6 win! Gross with the go ahead RBI in the 6th and Gordon with 2 big insurance RBIs. Scrabeck with 2 RBI as well. Brian pitched the final 3 1/3 giving up no runs on 1 hit.

Summer season is underway! Legion Post 119 kicks off their season at Century tonight at 5:00. VFW is off and running and currently sits at 5-1 (4-0 in league play).

Post 119 drops a tough one to the Rochester A’s 10-0 in 5 innings. Post 119 is back at it on Thursday in Winona. VFW hosts Faribault on Wednesday evening at 5:00 at Byron Middle School.

VFW comes away with a tightly contested 3-2 win. A well pitched and well defended game with some timely hitting!

Post 119 makes the journey to Winona to take on the Winona LeJetz. First pitch at 7:0 at Loughrey Field.

Post 119 falls 4-1 to Winona LeJetz. Next game is at home against Kasson Post 333 on Tuesday.
