On Thursday, Scorpions Basketball🏀🦂 Deonta Jones made history. He's the first Scorpion to sign a college scholarship for basketball, as he's headed to TU Men's Basketball. His signing may have been a little different (😷), but history was going to be made no matter what.

Covering send-offs to state will always be one of my favorite things. Scorpions Basketball🏀🦂 is headed to Lakeland, where they’ll face Central in the 1A state semifinals Wednesday night. A win, and they’re playing for the 1A state championship on Friday night.
Wednesday night, Scorpions Basketball🏀🦂 plays in the 1A state semifinals. A win puts them in Friday's state title game. On Tuesday, the Scorpions left for Lakeland determined to bring it home for their school and their community.
