On this day in 1928, Rutilio Grande was born in El Salvador. A voice for the marginalised, he was assassinated in 1977. May his legacy continue to inspire all who oppose injustice and stand for dignity. 🙏

It's Sea Sunday when we thank and pray for all who work at sea. ⚓ Our 2024 Lent campaign focused on James in Liberia who was part of a fishing training course. He's told us he's still using the GPS fish finder and hopes for the project to continue and reach more people.

All parties must respect and protect places of worship and humanitarian shelters. It is a clear violation of international humanitarian law to strike civilians seeking refuge. Our prayers go out to all at the Holy Family Church in Gaza.

This morning, the Holy Family Church in Gaza was hit and two people tragically died later in hospital. Parish priest Father Gabriel Romanelli was injured.
