🎉👏 We are delighted to see David Crouse, every Crop and Soil student's trusted guide & soils professor, chosen to lead CALS academic programs. The energy, wisdom & family-style encouragement he brought to our students will now be felt across CALS. Great pick Dean Garey Fox! 🙌

I was delighted to end my meetings at NCSU today with the celebrated sweet potato breeder, Dr. Craig Yencho NCSU Sweetpotato & Potato Breeding. Great work Dr. Bonny Oloka is doing with Craig. We look forward to fruitful collaborations. WACCI Dean Garey Fox University of Ghana

I had the pleasure of welcoming the newest members of the Wolfpack at New Student Convocation today. NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ incoming class is the largest EVER across our current degree programs. #NCStateWWW #NCState28

I had a great time meeting students at the CALS Connection event yesterday. NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ student orgs, academic programs and embedded counselor were present to connect with students. One of my favorite parts? Free Howling Cow ice cream (and most notably, Tuffy’s Toffee).

I challenged NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to find me not wearing red, and if they did, then I would buy them lunch. Well, a Zoom call from Asheville, N.C. this summer ended my streak. I paid up with lunch with this outstanding group of leaders (unfortunately missing three due to scheduling).

Thank you to Wiley Nickel for the fantastic support of the NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Central Crops Research Station in Clayton. We celebrated $1.47M of federal funding to boost agriculture research. Great research station staff and amazing partnerships with @NCagriculture and Agricultural Research Service.
