Congratulations to the The Grey Horse in Consett who have just been announced as the North East Region of CAMRA Region Pub of the Year. They will now go through to the Super Region round. We really do have some great pubs in County Durham!

Sorry, we're a bit later than planned, but all this week we're announcing our 2024 Pub and Club of the Year winners. 2024's branch Club of the Year goes to the Tanfield Lea WMC with Durham City RFC and Chester-le-Street Masonic Centre


Today we're announcing our Cider Pub of the Year results. The award for 2024 goes to The Station House with Grey Horse in Consett and Holy Grale in Durham as our runners-up




And finally for this year, it's time to announce that our City Pub of the Year is ye old elm tree with The Station House and The Victoria on Hallgarth Street as our runners-up



Presented by Paul Dobson, from CAMRA Durham. Andrew Ferriman of George Samuel Brewery Ltd in county Durham looks suitably pleased with his Beer of the Festival award from the Liverpool and districts branch of CAMRA for their Chocolate Honeycomb Stout.


We have approval from HQ and so we can now announce that the 42nd Durham Beer Festival will be happening from Wed 28th to Sat 31st August 2024 back at Durham City RFC Keep watching for more information!
