Please join CARA Autumn Riverside Litter-pick: Saturday October 5, 11.15 to lunchtime. Come to the slipway at the north end of Canbury Gardens to tidy the riverbank. CARA provides grabbers, gloves (you may prefer your own), & trash bags. Children must bring a responsible adult.

The Thames Landscape Strategy's volunteers are clearing scrub January 13th to 16th, along the riverside below the Half Mile Tree, sponsored by some CARA members. Well done the TLS! This is essential work, to maintain the views of the river and keep the riverbank in good shape.

CARA members are invited to suggest events on a boat moored along the Thames. Artist Ben Judd has set up this project with Kingston University & local groups. It is online now, with live events on the boat in September & October. See all the details at bit.ly/2VOALEK

CARA AGM: Wednesday 20 October at the Pavilion, Canbury Gardens. Doors open at 6.30pm for refreshments. AGM business begins at 7.00pm. After AGM business our MP, Sarah Olney, will announce the Local Hero competition winner. Then she will speak on matters of local interest.
