Find out if domestic wells & small water systems near you are accessing #groundwater that does not meet primary drinking water standards. We have a map for that. Check out our Aquifer Risk Map: bit.ly/3Is4UTb

This past Saturday, our volunteers removed over 3,000 pounds of trash from the Santa Ana-Delhi channel! 🄳 This waterway leads directly into Upper Newport Bay, SoCal's largest remaining natural estuary, so it is imperative that debris gets removed before it can wash downstream.

Central Coast communities are suffering from polluted groundwater, and California is failing to act. Check out this explanation of the fight to stop the over-application of nitrogen fertilizers that pollute our drinking water, waterways, and coastline: bit.ly/3RpvWO9.

After a decade of advocacy, today California made a landmark decision to adopt the nation’s first comprehensive Direct Potable Reuse regulations. Now, all CA communities have the tools necessary to reuse all of their wastewater into drinking #cawater resources.

State Water Board recently approved regs for turning wastewater to high-quality drinking #water. Called "direct potable reuse", the process enables water systems to generate climate-resilient water sources & reduce #wastewater discharged to rivers/ocean. bit.ly/484AMXX

Less than two years ago, the Supreme Court stripped the federal Clean Water Act of the many strong protections it offered to waters within California. I introduced #SB601 to fill this void left by Sackett v EPA and protect access to clean water in California.
