I’m calling on the City to recommit to and expand the schoolyards to playgrounds program. I announced an online interactive map that shows where schoolyards are open during non-school hours, and where outdoor yards exist that could be opened. Link to map: bit.ly/3eFt0gU

If using a lithium-ion battery, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging and storage. Always use the manufacturer’s cord and power adapter made specifically for the device. If a battery overheats, discontinue use immediately. See more at fdnysmart.org

Why are abandoned graffiti and trash covered newsracks littering the UWS? Dot (nyc.gov/html/dot/html/…) regulation requires racks free of graffiti, away from corners and subways. Not enforced! Reply and send us your pictures with locations so we can clean up uws.

It’s standing room only Henry Street Settlement for tonight’s meeting of the NYC DOT with Ydanis Rodriguez and his team fielding questions from the all quarters of the city. “DOT has a challenging responsibility to organize limited space so we can all move around 304 sq. miles of New York City.”
