We are very fortunate to have a volunteer fire department here in MacNutt with two trucks. Today we were supported by the top notch crews from Churchbridge Fire and Langenburg Fire Rescue. Three discs were running all that time to build fire guards. Great team effort!

Apr 24/2024 At approx 6:15 pm, Churchbridge and Langenburg ffs responded to a mutual aid request from MacNutt FD. Crews assisted in extinguishing a wildland fire that originated on the north side of the village, spreading across a section of land. Ffs were on scene for 4.5 hrs

Firefighters from across the province were in North Battleford on the weekend for SVFFA's annual spring fire school. Captain C. Deyneka took the Live Fire - Advance and Flashover training while Captain T. Eskra co-instructed the Ground Ladders, Ropes and Knots course.

Ffs trained on 3 types of fires during last training night. Stations included a fuel/ class B fire. Station 2 was a class A fire, simulating a wide variety of fires. The 3rd station was a simulated gas leak. Each fire requires different techniques to safely contain or extinguish

Jeremy Neilsen from Cando Rail & Terminals presented Churchbridge Fire Rescue a cheque for $2500 last night. Cando is investing funds into fire departments within their territories. The donation will be put towards the building of training grounds behind the fire hall
