"Primary human hepatocytes-laden scaffolds for the treatment of acute liver failure" — Read it on ResearchGate: researchgate.net/publication/37…

Very excited for our new publication in Biomaterials Advances, cols. IIS La Fe PhD Laia Tolosa, @CIBERehd Prof. M. Teresa Donato, Centre for the Cellular Microenvironment Prof. Manuel Salmeron and Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, @CIBERBBN Prof Gloria Gallego Ferrer in the context of the PhD of Julio Rodriguez. Thanks to the other authors! 👏

First Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering group meeting after the summer holidays!

Today during our Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering group meeting, Eterina Panova rehersed her Master Thesis defense. The study was financed by the #PROMETEO project #LIVERGEL and the Erasmus helping hand+ program (collaboration with PhD Vladímira Moulisová from Plzen University). Mentors Gloria Gallego Ferrer Sandra Clara

Yesterday at Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering group meeting we had the pleasure to listen to Prof. Manuel Mata Roig, from Universitat de València and INCLIVA who spoke about #lung cancer #organoids / #spheroids. Thanks for the very nice talk and work! Special mention to PhD student Irene Monleón.

Last Thursday 19th, during our Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering group meeting we had a talk from Prof. @José M. Meseguer about "Gender perspectives in Science and University Studies". Thanks for the nice presentation and fruitful discussion.

Today our Master Gradated Ekaterina Panova from Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering is defending our poster about Gelatin Hydrogels for the In Vitro 3D Modelling of Liver Fibrosis during the Fundación ADEIT International Meeting of Gut and Liver Fibrosis.

Thanks to Prof. Jose Luis Gomez-Ribelles from Centre for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering for his lecture today about #viscoelasticity in #polymers. Very ilustrative for Biotechnology researchers, but with the rigorous equations and concepts for Engineers. Part 2 will continue on July the 4th! 😊
