The visit continued in Rwamagana District, where the Netherlands Embassy in Kigali representative met #MvuraNkuvure graduates who stayed united, formed a savings group, and now run small projects. We visited one member who started with 4 rabbits and now has many. A true sign of growth and resilience.

Tonight, facilitators gathered for a night of celebration before the end of the advanced training. Our Executive Diretor reminded them that this training wasn’t just about building skills; it was also a chance for CBS to learn from their daily work in the field.

Yesterday on 09th May 2025, CPSAR had joined CBS & ICBS in celebratory of CBS' sociotherapy groups graduation. graduates had reflcted to importances sociotherapy on mental health of students and requested CBS to increase number of groups in UR-HUYE Campus.

Happening now! CBSRwanda is in Ruhango District , meeting with the commission of good governance in the District Council to deepen understanding of both the #MvuraNkuvure program and the community-based sociotherapy approach.

After the meeting, the Commission of Good Governance in the District Council visited graduated Mvura Nkuvure groups to witness the program's real-life impact. Through powerful testimonies, members shared how the approach has brought healing and meaningful change to their lives.

This is the second group of Rwamagana District facilitators undergoing advanced training. Now on their 4th day, they’re deepening their facilitation skills, reflecting on challenges, and exploring better ways to support their communities.

In Nyamasheke, #MvuraNkuvure conviviality brought together sociotherapists, community members, and their local leaders, who applauded the visible transformation in those who’ve been part of the program. “We see the change in our communities,” they said.
