Francois Van Eesbeck was born in Belgium in 1813. Having trained in Brussels as a "Hatter", he came to #Limerick in the 1840's, setting up his home & Hat Shop on the corner, at 11 George St./ 74 William St. His son, Francis ,took over the business when his father died in 1870.
