Yesterday evening, Mzee and I had the honour of welcoming Pastor Benny Hinn. He prayed with us for Uganda and for us all to recognize God as their Redeemer and Healer, for lasting peace, and for prosperity and success to prevail across our nation.

We are truly grateful for his sincere prayers, that we may all walk in humility, remain steadfast in faith, and witness God's healing and blessings upon us. We wish him a spirit-filled, impactful crusade, and we pray that the Lord uses him powerfully during his time with us all.

When I received Dr. Magara’s letter for the Uganda Youth Forum to host my 77th birthday it reminded me what a deep blessing it has been to serve the children of this great homeland God entrusted to us.

I thank the The Emerging Leaders Program, Uganda Christian Lawyers Fraternity, OAFLAD 🌍 who continue to traverse this country, UWESO - UG, and my team at State House Uganda and also Tororo Cement- thank you for partnering with us to construct a multi-purpose hall. You are all helping to turn this light into a national fire.

As I mark 77 years, my heart overflows with gratitude. To my husband and friend, who has walked with me for 52 of those years, to my children, grandchildren, and all who’ve called me Maama by choice—you are the wind beneath my wings. I thank God for you.
