The Davis Family, longtime residents of Citrus County who resided in Lecanto, donated $100k to establish the John Murray Davis & Alma B. Davis Memorial Scholarship - $2k awarded annually to one Lecanto High School student majoring in agriculture or ag-related field. CCEF

"Book, Line, and Thinkers" is a fishing field trip, through the CCEF, for 5th-graders that incorporates science and math in a hands-on experience. They observe wildlife, pull crab traps, and learn through exploration. These memories will last a lifetime!
