No one is immune to making mistakes. But how we respond afterward makes all the difference. That means you must actually DO something! I challenge you to stop TALKING about it and BE about it!

It doesn’t matter if it’s D1, D2, D3, NAIA or JUCO … If you want to be an impact player in college you have to be ready to COMPETE & EARN every bit of it once you get on campus. No one’s going to hand you a thing based off what you did in high school.

U can be an extremely talented athlete, but if you’re a lousy teammate & cancer to your team, college coaches will pass. On the flip side, if you’re an above average athlete but extreme competitor who makes the team & locker room better, college coaches will find a spot for you.

Parents: You’re raising a child, not an athlete. Teach them respect, hard work, how to be a good person. Show them what character & work ethic are. Hold them accountable. Teach them that they won’t ever get what they don’t earn. Strong, well-rounded kids find success much easier.

If you’re not starting, GOOD! Perfect opportunity to see how bad you want it & how hard you’re willing to work to get it! Struggle & adversity are unavoidable. The athletes who consistently work through the struggle, & overcome the adversity, are the most successful in the end!!
