What a weekend for members! Some of us took part in #Stirling900 massed bands and parade on Saturday, then Jim piped for Alison Johnstone MSP Presiding Officer of Scottish Parliament and other MSPs at the event marking 25 years since the (re)establishment of the Parliament.

Note - no tuition tonight due to unforeseen circumstances, back on Wednesday. Apologies.

It was great to hear about all the amazing work being done in Cumbernauld and Carbrain yesterday, and to hear what people want from their @scotparl in the future. Drookit but a great time. Travel on a bus, then piped Gala Queen & party to the stage, when rain set in! Indoors drier; more tunes upstairs. CCPG has come far in <2 years. To be an actual band, any drummers want to join us?! Or more pipers? Thanks to organisers for inviting us!

A wee reminder that there is NO MONDAY meeting at Cumbernauld & Carbrain Community Hub for the next three weeks (23rd/30th/7th), Wednesdays will continue as normal. Mondays resume 14th July. As always, but particularly over summer, come when you can, it'll be great to see you.
