The Eva Turner Elementary School 🦋 BUTTERLIES kicked off 2025 in style by crafting Goal setting boards during their first mentoring meeting of the year! Here's to big dreams and bold goals—let's make it happen! #MentorshipMatters #GoalGetters


The very first F.A.C.E. (Family and Community Engagement ) Academy at Eva Turner Elementary School was truly stellar! The presentations from the Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium, Judy Center, Early Childhood and various staff and vendors provided families with great insight and info!



Title I collaborated with TC Martin to provide an amazing family math night titled," Math Minds in Motion". 3rd - 5th grade families learned about the Three Reads Strategy to help solve math word problems! It was a fantastic evening of learning at T. C. Martin ! 📣SOUND ON!

A tremendous event! STEM NIGHT at Indian Head Braves Indian Head ES was a huge success ! A big thank you to the multitude of community partners and staff who made this event successful!


Shout out to T.A.M. Teachers, Shawn Starcher (La Plata High School and Karen Rowledge (McDonough H.S.) for assisting with a new Title I Initiative exclusively for Instructional Assistants in our Title I Schools!


"Wow! A fantastic turnout at General Smallwood MS Open House 2.0! Families engaged in sessions on course selection, visited classrooms, and connected with teachers & staff. It was an amazing night of learning and community!




The Black History Month Showcase at Dr. Brown Elementary was such a rich experience for families! With poem recitals, art exhibitions, cheerleaders, HBCU parades,dances and songs, African American history and culture was exceptionally expressed and celebrated! What a great event!

Strong fathers, stronger schools! Tonight’s DADvisory meeting at Dr. Samuel A.Mudd ES invited fathers and father figures to make a difference! Tonight, over 10 "Dynamite Dads" signed up to volunteer, mentor, and lead as part of the DADvisory Council! They are ready to work!💪💪
