Freedom students raised over $10,000 in a Penny War. 2nd grade won a Star Wars May the 4th party. Darth Vader even made an appearance during arrival. The whole school will celebrate with Kona Ice next Monday. #maythe4th #fesbraggindragon

Freedom students celebrated raising $10,000 for the playground fund by enjoying Kona Ice and extra recess today. This brings our playground total to $102,000! We are awaiting our playground proposals for phase 1. THANK YOU for ALL of the community support! #fesbraggindragons

We are getting closer to our new playground installation. All of the old mulch and timbers were removed. The playground is set to ship towards the end of November with installation in early December. We can’t wait! #fesbraggindragon

Freedom staff and students had an entertaining afternoon celebrating that we met our Fun Run goal by “pie-ing” Mrs. Barnes and sliming Mrs. Smith. Thank you to the PTA and Fun Run Committee for organizing this event. Thank you to everyone who supported this event.

It was Teamwork Tuesday at Freedom today. 2nd grade students worked to make an attention getter connected with their science unit. 4th grade students worked on a STEM challenge to see which contraption could catapult a pumpkin candy the farthest. #fesbraggindragon
