All four senior sides are in action this weekend. The First XI hosts Clyst St. George CC The Second XI travel across to Dartington&Totnes CC The Third XI hosts Ivybridge Cricket The Women's XI hosts ExeterCC

The First XI claimed another victory on Saturday. Batting first, we managed our way to 187/9 with a 54 run, 10th wicket partnership between Tom Hughes (45no) and Fahad Ali (12no). A relatively close chase followed. Skipper, Ted Haffenden picked up four wickets.

A strong performance from the 2nd XI on Saturday. A tricky wicket to bat on, we managed to make 169. Young Jake Smith top scored 37. Sam White made 27. Bowling was excellent. A maiden 5-fer for the club for Dan Rogers, 5/12. Sam Knapman claiming 2/14. Azir Rahmanzai with 2/12.

A tough day for the Third XI against top of the division, Ivybridge. Batting first, Ed Lockett made 25 at the top with Jamie Henwood top scoring with 36. The total proved to be behind par with us only taking two wickets in defence, courtesy of Matt White.

This Sunday sees our Women’s team take on Cornwood Cricket Club Stoke Gabriel CC in the Super8s West league.

1/3 results in our favour for the opening weekend as the 3rd XI pick up a win. The 1st XI missed out in a run chase falling short by 24 runs. The 2nd XI were left a hefty total to chase after a rather unique innings of 197 by Yelverton’s opener.

Our Clubhouse is now open for the season, serving Food and drinks. Open Wednesday to Friday 5 -9, Saturday 9-9 and Sunday 12 - 6 Available to book for private functions
