Dr. Pruitt Jr. carried forward a legacy of medical and engineering innovation established by his father, Dr. J. Crayton Pruitt Sr., whose visionary philanthropy in 2006 led to the naming of UF’s Biomedical Engineering Department in his honor.

Congratulations to our UF BME PhD student, Allison Campbell, who was selected for the UF T32 Neuromuscular Plasticity Training Program (NMPT), overseen by Drs. Fuller, Vandenborne, and Judge. Allison is researching injectable hydrogel/drug therapies for Spinal Cord Injury (SCI).
