It’s hard to believe Mr. Blanchet would describe Canada as “an artificial country with very little meaning.” Say what you want about our challenges, but don’t insult the country we all call home.

Every year on April 28, CFNU remembers workers who were killed, injured or made sick due to their work. Honoring workers means fighting to make work safe for all nurses and workers, from appropriate PPE to protection from violence and harassment at work.

Thank you and merci to Jagmeet Singh for being a strong advocate for public health care as the leader of the NDP. Improving access to care through pharmacare and dental care will continue to make positive impacts on people across the country.

#BearWitnessDay honours Jordan River Anderson and reminds us to work hard to ensure Jordan's Principle is fully implemented & Indigenous children get the care they need. I'm sorry to miss the 20th Anniversary Walk, but glad Manitoba Nurses' Darlene Jackson is there repping nurses

Summer camp operators are (rightfully) not permitting kids not vaccinated with MMR to attend their camps. This is sensible since one case of #measles can infect up to 20 others. The cause is lower rates of MMR vaccination increasing the number of susceptible people.
