The U13 Cricketers had a fantastic time at the Under 13 Bucks County Cricket Participation Festival at Dinton Cricket Club today. Despite it being some of the girls’ first ever Cricket match, they won three out of their four matches, playing with great joy and enthusiasm.

The Year 8 Cricketers were in action vs AGS school this week. AGS - 140 off their 20 overs, despite a good knock by Ryan P we fell slightly short of that total.

Year 9 Mixed Rounders Team went to National, and came 2nd in their group. However they unfortunately didn’t qualify for the Semifinals. Some great batting, fielding and team work shown throughout the whole day. Players of the tournament go to Mickie, Harrison & Elliot

Well done to the U13 Tennis team who had a good victory over the Amersham school. 🎾

Well done to our new sports leaders who have completed their ‘Active leaders’ qualification this week. They have all worked so hard delivering a team building session on year 6-7 transition day, completing a first aid course and teaching some PE lessons.

Congratulations to Year 12 student Alicia who competed at the World Aquathlon championships in Spain last week. Alicia was competing as part of the British Triathlon team and managed to finish 5th in the U20 age category. Well done on a fantastic achievement.

Fantastic evening for the Year 8’s at HOAC Sailing. They were all taught superbly by Year 12 student Beth who had them sailing around the lake independently.

Well done to the U13 & U15 girls Tennis team who had a fantastic fixture vs DCHS this evening. Some great performances on display by the whole team.

As the 2024/25 academic year comes to a close, we look back on what has been a fantastic year for PE and Sport at CGS. A total of 654 students have taken part in competitive fixtures! We wish you all a wonderful summer. CGS PE Team

Year 6 ➡️ 7 Summer camp. Today was house day. All students took part in Art, Drama, Cricket, Basketball, Football, Netball and Softball competitions. It was great to see so many students representing their houses with pride and engaging in the house spirit.
