Our Counselors In Training participated in the Community Education Council/District 19’s Annual Community Health & Wellness Fair at East New York Family Academy this past Saturday. The CITs trained for CPR and welcomed vendors. They also met Roxanne J. Persaud

Thank you to Commissioner Manuel Castro of NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs for visiting us last Friday! We discussed the needs of asylum seekers in ENY and our immigrant led small businesses. We brainstormed ways to connect newcomers in the community and country to City supports and resources!



CHLDC joins with NYC Base Campaign in honoring those basement residents lost to Hurricane Ida. We will never stop fighting for safe basement apartments.
