Our next ALL CAAC Honoree for the 2022 Season is #2 Carson Berkompas TE/OLB/DE-Junior Carson led the team with 18 TFLs and had 8 QB sacks to go with 64 total tackles 34 Solo. Carson was 3rd on the team in receptions (10) and had 176 receiving yards with 2 TDs and 10 pancakes

The next honoree for our CAAC All Conference Football Team is #77 Reid Blasius Offensive Line (Center), DLine-Sophomore Reid played all 5 spots in the offensive line, eventually settled in at Center where he was 3rd on the team in pancakes with 10. Was also aHM All Area!

#8 Tyler Bidelman-Defensive Line Junior Tyler Bidelman had 47 Tackles, 12 TFL’s and 5 QB Sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and scored a defensive touchdown on a blocked punt. Tyler was also selected to the LSJ All Area Team (Honorable Mention)

Jumping to #2, we have a district semi-final game. The defending state champ Chelsea, and a red hot Charlotte team that was playing it’s best ball yet. The Orioles made HUGE plays down the stretch to come away with a 27-15 win, snapping a 17 year winless streak in the postseason

Junior Quarterback #15 Ben Buzzard Ben was an amazing leader on the field and had a QB Rating of 115, he completed 30 out 45 pass attempts for 430 yards and 5 TDs, he had 29 carries for 128 yards and 2 TDs. Ben was also selected to the LSJ All Area Division 3/4 team as a QB

Orioles win the conference opener over Lakewood 39-8. Cutler Brandt tied the MHSAA record for longest INT returned for a TD at 100 (officially 105 but MHSAA caps it at 100). This is also a new school record!
