Assa’s essay echoes the values of Scots identity that were both drawn out and further aspired to in the “Embracing Multicultural Scotland” report from the Centre for Human Ecology, sent to all MSPs in 2000 as the new parliament was taking shape: alastairmcintosh.com/articles/2000-…

Thanks to Enough Scotland for their inspiring work. CHE was a partner with them on a range of activities and we appreciated the creative synergy. CHE wishes the Enough Scotland collective members all the best in their future endeavours.

𝕁𝕒𝕞𝕖𝕤 𝔻𝕠𝕔𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕥𝕪 💜 I spent an afternoon with him at a Quaker do in London many years ago when he was launching Violence: Reflections on a National Epidemic. I was already using his wife’s book in our teaching Centre for Human Ecology, her idea that patriarchy quells a girl’s voice, it then needs to rebound.

Joe Hope at Cefn Coch Farm 🌳🐄🤠 Centre for Human Ecology They’d have been the students of me and Ulrich Loening at that time. UL (who was then director of the CHE) is into his 90s now and still as sharp and passionate as ever.
